After the Editors critically acclaimed third album “In This Light and On This Evening” it is no surprise that they are British’s second biggest band of the decade, second only to The Arctic Monkeys. Based in Birmingham, they formed in 2002. Previously known as PilotThe Pride and Snowfield, the band consists of Tom Smith (lead vocals, rhythm guitar, piano), Chris Urbanowicz (lead guitar, synthesizer), Russell Leetch (bass guitar, backing vocals) and Ed Lay (drums, percussion). Their sound is unique yet is based within that classic British indie band sound. They are comparable to Echo & the BunnymenJoy DivisionInterpol and U2. Although I don’t really see the U2 comparison, they do sound quite a bit like Interpol. The band is coming over the pond to entertain Vancouver at the infamous Commodore Ballroom,  Feb 6th, 2010.
